Green Meeting Destinations
Thanks to the GreenPath program, every meeting on our grounds is created with Mother Nature in mind. You can create unique, impactful events at some of the world’s most awe-inspiring locations – and you’ll know you’re doing it in the most responsible way possible. The GreenPath Meetings program encompasses everything we could think of to help you leave a big impact on attendees while having little impact on our surroundings. We’ve created food and beverage, energy consumption, waste reduction, water consumption, transportation and purchasing policies that adhere to strictest possible standards.
Green, is more than just a buzzword. It’s how we do business. When Delaware North Companies® developed the GreenPath® program more than 10 years ago, we became the leader in environmentally conscious meetings and events. We spell out our green initiatives for a level of transparency many companies can only aspire to.
Every meeting at a Delaware North property is a green meeting. We have standards of environmentally conscious initiatives that each property implements regardless of the type of event we’re hosting. In addition, each property offers opportunities for clients who desire to go even greener. Our green meeting packages include everything from the purchase of carbon offsets for travel to reusable bottles and mugs. Your event planner will be able to assist you with any special requests.
At every Delaware North destination, you’ll find local, sustainable catering options, water-conserving fixtures, energysaving light bulbs and a minimal use of paper at all of our properties. But we don’t just stop at the obvious. We incorporate little touches that make a huge difference. We educate our guests, exhibitors and meeting planners. We allow guests to opt out of their morning newspaper deliveries. And we rigorously maintain our fleet vehicles using the most environmentally friendly practices possible.
