Arguably the most visited beach in the world, Jones Beach includes 2,413 acres of shore along Long Island, New York, with six miles of fabled ocean beach and a mile of bay frontage developed for still water bathing. In addition Jones Beach possesses excellent bathing facilities, swimming pools and diving and wading pools.

Just 15 miles to the east, visitors can swim, surf, fish or surf-fish at Robert Moses State Park, a picturesque park at the tip of Fire Island that dates back to 1908. With five miles of ocean beach there is plenty of room to roam.
